RG Electronics (“the App”) is a mobile platform provided by RG Electronics to support Distributor Sales Officers (DSOs), dealers, field teams and authorized partners. This Privacy Policy explains how the App collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use our services.

By installing or using RG Electronics, you agree to the terms described below.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum data required to operate the App’s features.

1.1 Personal Information

  • Name, phone number, email address
  • Dealer business details (GST, PAN, license details, addresses)
  • Profile information for DSOs and dealer users

1.2 Location Data (DSO Role Only — Opt-In)

  • Precise, real-time GPS location
  • Background location updates for route tracking and visit monitoring

Location tracking is strictly optional and enabled only for DSO/field roles.
Dealers and non-field users are never tracked.

1.3 Device Information

  • Device model, OS version
  • App version and diagnostics
  • IP address and basic analytics
    Collected only for security, performance, and debugging.

1.4 Usage & Activity Data

  • Visit start/stop times, route history (DSOs only)
  • Orders created, edited or confirmed
  • Deliveries, proof-of-delivery photos and signatures
  • Notifications, assignments, sync events

1.5 Attachments & Files

  • Images, documents, and signatures uploaded for:
    • Dealer onboarding
    • Order Proof-of-Delivery
    • Inventory and site photos

1.6 Offline Data

The app stores some data offline on your device (orders, visits, attachments) until your device reconnects.
This data is synced securely to RG Electronics servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to provide the services of the App:

  • Dealer onboarding review and activation
  • Order capture, processing and tracking
  • Real-time DSO route visibility (with user consent)
  • Task assignment and operational planning
  • Delivery tracking and proof-of-delivery validation
  • Invoice and payment reconciliation
  • Improving app performance, troubleshooting and analytics
  • Sending push notifications about orders, payments and assignments

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Location Tracking Policy

Location access is required only for DSO/field roles to enable:

  • Live route tracking
  • Visit logging
  • Reassignment and dispatch planning
  • Performance analysis

Your Control

  • You can grant or deny location permission at any time.
  • Background location is used only when tracking is enabled by your organization (DSO role).
  • Dealers and admin/web users are never tracked.

4. Sharing of Information

Your data may be shared only with:

4.1 Authorized RG Electronics Personnel

For:

  • Distribution operations
  • Dealer onboarding verification
  • Order processing
  • Dispatch and delivery management

4.2 Service Providers

Trusted third-party services for:

  • Cloud hosting
  • Database storage
  • Push notifications
  • Secure file storage

All providers follow strict confidentiality and security requirements.

4.3 Legal Obligations

We may disclose information when required to:

  • Comply with applicable laws
  • Respond to government or legal requests
  • Protect rights and safety of RG Electronics, its users or the public

We never share your data for marketing or advertising.

5. Data Retention

Data is retained only as long as necessary for:

  • Operation of services

  • Legal or compliance obligations

Dealer documents, orders, visit logs and delivery proofs are retained according to RG Electronics’ internal policies.

  • Encrypted HTTPS communication
  • Secure authentication
  • Role-based access controls
  • Encrypted file/document storage
  • Regular audits and monitoring

Administrators manage all access levels and export permissions.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your role and organization policies, you may:

  • Access and update your profile data
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Disable location permissions
  • Request deletion of your account (subject to internal business requirements)

8. Children’s Privacy

RG Electronics is intended for business use only and is not designed for children under 16.
